What is the market?
We all shower and wash our hair, if not daily then at least 2-3 times a week (at least we do if we don't want to be talked about).
Every day products are being highlighted regularly in the press, so the consumer is becoming much more aware of how damaging the ingredients they contain are to their bodies. Scrutiny of the ingredients labels reveals that most products contain a number of undesirable ingredients also contained in things like anti-freeze, oven cleaner and industrial cleaning products, these ingredients are then laced with synthetic perfumes to hide the smell, doesn't sound very nice does it!
The cosmetic industry needs to clean up its act but will they. In a market dominated by chemical products that's worth $6 trillion per annum and relatively unaffected by economic downturns…why should they.
But think about this; the fast food industry has had to clean up its act because people are voting with their feet now that they've realised that those deliciously packaged, mouth watering fast foods, presented to us via glossy advertisements are actually very unhealthy and damaging to our bodies.
So once the consumer has read about, if not all, then at least some of the issues relating to 'harsh chemical products' don't you think they'll be looking for an alternative? Surely the scientists haven't got it completely wrong and even if they have,why take the chance?

So what can you do?
Just to give you an idea as to how it can work for you, let us tell you about a party we did ourselves last year. We don't normally do them ourselves but Steve (one of our directors) was asked as a favour.
He went along to a friend's home who had invited eight women. Now Steve's not a sales person, but he took along with him the £350 kit and displayed it on the kitchen units with the intention of giving a talk for about an hour and then if anyone wanted to buy things they could take a look in the kitchen and buy on the night.
When everyone had arrived and was seated in the living room he asked the host to go to her bathroom and bring down what she was using for her daily routine (i.e. hair shampoo, shower gels etc). He placed them on the coffee table and then started to talk through what type of ingredients the products contained and what the issues were. At this point the women started to say that they too used the products which were on the table. Steve was able with the support of the toxic toiletry pack, show them what the issues were surrounding the chemicals contained in the products.
After about 10 minutes of talking about the products they all said "well I'm not using that again" and off they all marched to the kitchen.
After two hours in total Steve had sold over £600 worth on behalf of the host (so approx £300 to the host) all the women have been good customers ever since and have asked twice for other parties themselves.

One of our agents recently approached a college and their beauty dept is now buying the products for over 300 students to use. So 10% every time they do, not bad for a couple of visits.
We did a small Rugby event in our local hall and although only 10 people turned up we sold £300 worth of products. Around us were the usual party plan regulars, we think you'll know who we mean. None of them sold anything and we think it's because we have a storey, we're not just another range of products, 'Chemical free, Healthier for you, half the price of the others' and not on every high street or with 10,000 agents also selling it.
